Open Learning
History

Summary

My research agenda currently focuses on the following threads: 1) The development and effective use of open textbooks and other Open Educational Resources (OERs). 2) History of British Columbia: I have initiated a 'textbook sprint' that will produce the first 21st century history of BC -- as an open textbook. 3) Vancouver's oldest street: I'm working on a history of Gore Avenue, showing how patterns of population and economic activities created an urban environment that defined early 20th century Vancouver.
