He is planning on dental school so this final semester he has been extremely busy, with six courses, lifeguarding and volunteering at a local dental office. Lifeguarding since 2005, Bryce says its been an ideal part-time job while going to school, especially with the close proximity of the TCC and campus.

“We are extremely proud of Brittany’s and Bryce’s performances at the DB Perks Cup,” said Heidi Ogilvie, Aquatics Coordinator for the City of Kamloops. She adds, “Kamloops is fortunate to have such a strong lifeguard team and for our local lifeguards to excel in these types of competitions will mean safer experiences for Kamloops pool users.”

The DB Perks Cup competition is a time trial meet to qualify for the Canadian Lifesaving Pool Championship which will be taking place in May 2010.
