TRU Law faculty member Charis Kamphuis has been working on a case involving human rights violations by a Canadian mining company’s operations in Guatemala. The case has grown, with Kamphuis being joined by other legal experts and law students all working pro bono. On March 2, a Federal Court in Winnipeg heard legal arguments about the Canadian government’s redaction of documents related to the case. Kamphuis spoke with CBC Kamloops about the hearing.
