Community gatherings, a journal article, book chapters, and a children’s book—Dr. Wendy Hulko (Social Work) has been actively mobilizing the knowledge created from her research into culturally safe dementia care for First Nation Elders.
But along with using conventional methods of distributing her findings, Hulko tried something new. In June, the gerontologist, whose body of work focuses on equity-seeking groups and their experiences of health, aging and dementia, agreed to be guest expert during a one-hour Twitter chat.
