Commander Jack Miller (Professor Emeritus in the Faculty of Education and Social Work), who served for 27 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, addressed TRU’s Remembrance Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 10.

He began his speech with recognition of the Interior First Nations peoples who served, and acknowledged the prominence of Canadian armed forces in freedom-making, disaster relief, and peace-keeping.

We respectfully acknowledge all those who served and serve to ensure our freedom in Canada and elsewhere.
