Vehicles from days gone by will be on TRU roads for parts of Friday afternoon and into the early night during the Poker Run portion of the 15th annual Hot Nite In The City.
The Poker Run is scheduled for 3pm to 8:30pm and is limited to 200 vehicles.
Hot Nite In The City runs Aug 7-9 and is an annual gathering of vintage, classic and custom vehicle enthusiasts. The event typically attracts a few hundred owners from around B.C. and sometimes parts of Alberta and Washington State.
The highlight of the weekend is Saturday’s Show-n-Shine from 10am to 5pm where the owners park their vehicles along assigned downtown Kamloops streets.
Spectators are welcome and usually show up by the hundreds to marvel at the machines, to take photographs, reminisce, ask questions and even to swap stories.
