To aid in the training of emergency response crews, a mock disaster was created by a group of actors, among them some of our very own TRU students.

On Tuesday, March 29, 2011, a mock civilian disaster was enacted near Salmon Arm, involving a bus crash, a helicopter accident, and a burning car.

From the Faculty of Arts there were more than 40 theatre students and several faculty members involved, and their participation created a sense of realism to this disaster simulation like never before.
