Dr. Joel Wood, assistant professor in the School of Business and Economics, wrote an op-ed for the Victoria Times Colonist arguing against a ban on log exports. According to Wood: “Banning log exports would be an economically harmful policy, and there are better policy options that could benefit the forestry sector and businesses.”
