Laura Doan, Assistant Professor in the School of Education (Faculty of Education and Social Work) had an opportunity to bring her expertise in Early Childhood Education to an international forum, presenting her research “Supporting the professional identity development of early childhood educators: An induction support pilot project” at the European Early Childhood Education Research Association conference in Dublin, Ireland earlier this month. Doan was excited for the chance to share her research and build connections with  fellow researchers at the conference, which attracts researchers from across the globe; this year’s event had over 900 delegates from 6 continents and over 44 countries. Doan also recently published her article “The early years: Beginning early childhood educators’ induction experiences and needs in British Columbia” in the Journal of Childhood Studies, 41(2), 43-54.
