Hulko brings focus to aging and dementia

Dr. Wendy Hulko, a faculty member in the School of Social Work and Human Service (Faculty of Education and Social Work) and recent recipient of the 2016 TRU Award for Excellence in Scholarship, continues to shine a light on issues around aging and dementia through her research and scholarly work. Hulko co-facilitated a workshop on Partnering with Elders to improve health care: Developing an end of life teaching story with Danielle Wilson of Interior Health, Elder Estella Patrick Moller, and Elder Jean William on April 25, 2016 at the Rural Health Services Research Conference at TRU. Hulko also chaired a panel on Law, dementia, and aging: Hard choices at the Canadian Law and Society Conference at the University of Calgary on May 29, 2016.
