Led by team captain Tony Bell, senior lecturer with the Accounting and Finance department, the 15 members of the TRU SoBE and Friends team raised over $2300 in the Kamloops’ 2015 Scotiabank MS Walk held May 24th. This year the Faculty of Management at Vancouver Island University challenged TRU’s business school to raise funds and awareness. Between the two teams over $3000 was raised.

One of the SoBE student participants, Hailey McNeil, was lucky enough to win a NHL hockey jersey, a top door prize.

The Scotiabank MS Walk is an annual event held in communities across Canada. Funds generated through the MS Walk go towards research into a cure, and support for those coping with MS. To learn more about MS click here.
