Ryan grew up in Prince George B.C. where he excelled as both a Team B.C. freestyle skier/snowboarder as well as a golfer. He received a golf scholaroship from Abilene Christian University in Texas where he graduated with a BBA in 2001. Ryan currently competes as an amateur golfer, and recently was one of two B.C. golfers that made the cut at the B.C. Amateur Golf Championships.
Ryan has spent 12 years as a commercial banker with The Royal Bank of Canada and specializes in dealing with medical and business professionals and some general commercial banking with a focus on real estate. Since moving to Kamloops in 2007 from his previous positions in Prince George and Nelson, he is happy to call Kamloops home.
“The level of outdoor activity choice is second to none and the work life balance in Kamloops is something that “outsiders” don’t realize until spending time here. I can see myself calling Kamloops home for many years to come,” he said.
We are extremely excited to have Ryan a part of the TRU Alumni & Friends board, and look forward to working with him for the coming years.
