TRU’s Dean of Trades and Technology has been appointed to the top board overseeing trades training in British Columbia.

Lindsay Langill is one of nine newly-appointed members to the Industry Training Authority’s board of directors as announced on May by Shirley Bond, Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and Minister Responsible for Labour.

“I feel extremely humbled yet privileged to have been handpicked by Minister Bond to be a part of this board, knowing all the hugely successful people that could have been a part of this board,” said Langill.

“This is an historic moment, as this provincial board has never had an educator assigned to it before,” Langill said.
