October 23 2012: Thompson Rivers University and CUPE Local 4879 are pleased to have reached an agreement. The agreement reached is subject to ratification by the parties.

but not limited to, system analysts, accountants, cashiers, bookstore clerks and buyers, registration / admissions clerks, maintenance and utility staff, library technicians, ancillary staff and Open Learning support staff.

The agreement covers a 4 year period from April 1, 2010 through March 31 2014.

The agreement provides for a two percent general wage increase in each of the last two years.

The parties agreed that except for some minor adjustments the terms and conditions of employment that have governed the work place over the last four years were satisfactory and will remain in effect for the life of the new agreement.

The University appreciates the positive relationship that has been built with CUPE Local 4879 and looks forward to continuing to provide the strong level of service and support for TRU students.
