Tianjin University officials visited TRU on April 26, 2012 and among the appointments was a private meeting with TRU President Alan Shaver.

Amidst the discussion was the importance of maintaining and building on the strong relationship between the two universities.

Earlier in the day at lunch, the group met with Lian Dumouchel (Tourism Management), Bernie Warren (Business), Agnes Hsu (TRU World), and Pat Hennelly (Men’s Volleyball Head Coach). Later in the day, the delegation met with faculty members from TRU’s School of Business and Economics.

Included in the delegation from Tianjin was the university’s:

• Dean of International College of Business and Technology, Wendy Fu
• Dean for School of Mechanical Engineering and School of Fine Arts, Xinhua Zhao
• Dean for School of Electrical Engineering, Yunliang Wang
• Deputy Director, Office of Graduate Studies, Lijian Bie
• Translator, Office of International Relations, Tiangang Li

Translating for the visitors was Baihua Chadwick, Vice Chair: Director, International for TRU.
