Adventure is now more clearly defined in the Tourism course offerings at TRU.

The Department of Management, which is part of the School of Business and Economics, has been split into three more distinct departments.

Senate approved the following name changes at its meeting on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011…

1) The School of Tourism has been changed to:

• Faculty of Adventure, Culinary Arts and Tourism

2)  In the School of Business and Economics, the Department of Management has been split into three separate departments:

• Department of Accounting and Finance
• Department of Marketing, International Business and Entrepreneurship
• Department of Management
