Those who have been around the CAC lately may have noticed a few construction vehicles on the premises and found themselves wondering what those workers might be up to.

Well, the plan is to create a new addition!

Here’s what you can expect from the Campus Activity Centre’s forthcoming Third Floor Addition:
• Program space required for TRU World – Contract training and Ancillary Services
• Bingham + Hill: Design Architects
• PCL:  Construction Managers
• DG Graham: Project Managers
• Three tender packages have been awarded – structural steel, site works and soil anchors
• Tender packages for all other work are now posted on B.C. Bid with a closing date of March 30th
• Construction budget is estimated at $2.8M with an overall budget of $3.6M
• Project is jointly financed between Ancillary Services and TRU World
• Scheduled completion – October 15th 2011
