On October 6, 2010 The Vancouver Sun commends the Thompson Rivers University’s “Pilot project aiming to attract aboriginal women into mining and exploration.”

The article describes how “the three-month program, which has attracted a classroom of 14 women from across the province, offers the chance for students to explore some of the most hotly demanded trades, from industrial electrician and pipe-fitter to heavy equipment operator and glazier.”
