Masters degree in Nursing may be offered again at TRU next Fall

Please note: TRU is currently not offering the MSN Program. Refer the School of Nursing website for information on current programs.

Nurses in the interior may again have access to a Masters Degree program, as Thompson Rivers University will host another offering of the UBC Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree next fall at the Kamloops campus providing there are a sufficient number of applications.

This will be the seventh intake of students in this partnership program, which provides working nurses with lots of flexibility in undertaking graduate studies.

With applications due by the end of January, for the program to begin in September 2010, program coordinator Sharon Simpson is holding two afternoon information sessions and one evening session next week for interested potential students.

These sessions are schedule for next Thursday, January 14th and again Friday, January 15th starting at 4:30 pm in the TRU Science Building – Room S330.

The evening session is scheduled for Friday, January 15th at 8:00 pm in the same room.
