KAMLOOPS – TRU athletes took top honours in four categories at the recent Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame annual awards banquet for the 2004-05 season. WolfPack men’s basketball coach Nevin Gleddie took home Coach of the Year honours, while WolfPack men’s basketball point guard Sean Garvey took home the Male Athlete of the Year award, and the WolfPack men’s basketball team scooped the Team of the Year award. WolfPack women’s volleyball player Lisa Strachan was a finalist for Female Athlete of the Year.

A TRU professor, Jack Miller of the School of Education, was named Senior Athlete of the Year. Miller is active in track and field as an athlete, and as a coach. He has worked with TRU cross-country athletes at the club level.
