Professional skier and women’s sport advocate speaks at TRU

KAMLOOPS—TRU Adventure Studies hosts Lynsey Dyer early next week for a series of events.

A professional skier, Dyer’s career spans over a decade. She has starred in films produced by major companies such as Teton GravityResearch, Warren Miller and Sherpa’s Cinema. She has skied on six continents, won every big mountain competition she’s entered, been named Female Skier of the Year by Powder Magazinemultiple times, and cemented her place as one of the best skiers in the world. Through her charity, She Jumps, and popular Ted Talks, SkiingLike a Girland Filmmaking, she inspires a generation of young female athletes.

In addition to speaking to Adventure Sport Management students, Dyer is holding two public events.
