Why reduce stress?
Stress has been titled the “Health Epidemic of the 21st Century” by the World Health Organization and while being a normal part of the human experience and a highly personalized phenomenon, chronic stress or long-term distress is associated with increased risk for disease including anxiety, depression, obesity, and many inflammatory diseases.
Eustress elicits positive growth or change, while distress is a feeling of being overwhelmed.

Petznick is a certified performance nutrition coach, personal trainer, specialized kinesiologist and registered yoga instructor.
