Orange Shirt Day 2019

Orange Shirt Day is a day to honour the Indigenous children who were sent away to residential schools in Canada. It’s a day to learn more about the history of those schools, and to celebrate that every child matters.

11 a.m.—pizza at Cplul’kw’ten

11:35—walk to Campus Commons (in front of CAC)

11:45—introductions and welcome

11:55—honour song

12:05 p.m.—guest speaker

12:45—closing remarks

1—round dance

 

There will be free bannock at Campus Commons.
