With the support of Indigenous Student Development and Indigenous Education, a group of nursing practicum students are promoting the Moosehide Campaign, a province-wide initiative toward ending violence against women and children.

7-8 a.m.—daybreak ceremony for fasting, & smudging
8—registrations, pledging to fast (not mandatory), signing in for public
8:40—opening ceremony (drumming & singing)
9:10—introductions
9:20—Elder blessing
9:45–10:45—speaker 1: Justin Young
10:45–11:10—break
11:10 a.m.–12:40 p.m.—Circle of self-reflection with Justin, & Circle of healing with Ashley Broadfoot, Beading with Elizabeth Spike.
12:40–1:10—break
1:10–2:00—panel for “Stand with women to end violence against women and children”, Q & A from participants
2–2:15—break
2:15–3—closing ceremony/smudging/acknowledgement
