TRU and the School of Business and Economics (SoBE) are hosting Kelly Lendsay, founder and CEO of Luminary. Lendsay is touring Canadian campuses to promote Luminary’s strategy for increasing co-operation and collaboration among Indigenous business, communities and post-secondary research and organizations. SoBE is a charter member of the Luminary effort.
Lendsay is sharing the Luminary strategy for connecting faculty and student researchers with a Canada-wide community of Indigenous-focused research and innovation resources and promoting Indigenous-led research and pedagogy efforts. For more information about Luminary, please watch their video.
To engage Luminary’s target groups—researchers, students, staff and teaching faculty—Lendsay will hold three in-person sessions (the student-only session also takes place remotely via Zoom), so RSVP to secure your spot as seats are limited.
Note that the Promoting Indigenous Relationships in Research session, on Thursday, Feb. 3 (10 – 11:30 a.m.), is for faculty and student researchers.
The event wraps up by 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4.
Note: COVID-19 event safety protocols will be followed for all in-person sessions.
