Living a Financially Healthy Life

The majority of students at the post-secondary level have entered, very quickly, the world of financial costs, responsibilities, planning, spending, debt, credit cards and so much more. Most will not have had any preparation in public school for these financial challenges and responsibilities – a situation we hope to change going forward. This fall, TRU Student Awards & Financial Aid is excited to be partnering with The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE; see www.cfee.org) to offer the virtual workshops to students and alumni. “Living a Financially Healthy Life” – addresses goal setting, budgeting, saving and spending. Any interested staff are also welcome to sign up.
