Language of Hope: How Our Words Shape Our World | Presented by Haesun Moon, Executive Director, Canadian Centre for Brief Coaching
Can you think of a conversation that was “life-giving” for you? Whether at home or at work, a conversation that left you feeling hopeful, uplifted or assured? What was happening in that conversation that gave you “life”? Who were you talking to?
When we study these powerful conversations, we learn it does not “just happen” but they are carefully and mindfully crafted. There are some core building blocks of “hope” that get built in your ordinary conversations. Unless you are very intentional about it, those details are often unnoticed yet not insignificant.
In this webinar, you will learn a simple—but not easy—set of skills you can use to make your conversations with yourself and others around you just a little better. Along with evidence-based case studies from the field of communication science, this session will provide you with simple heuristics, stories and usable skills to sharpen your language in creating hope.
