Appointments Committee training

The training session is two hours in duration and will include:

  • An overview of the composition, roles, and responsibilities of committee members
  • Review of TRU Policies and key legislation impacting recruitment and selection
  • Information on the recruitment process (requisitions, advertising and shortlisting)
  • Information on the selection process (interviews, biases, references and recommendations)
  • Key aspects of the onboarding process (salary placement, offer letters and orientation)
