Millwright program a go for TRU

The Ministry of Advanced Education recently announced it would pay for 16 seats in the Foundation millwright program. Years of lobbying for a millwright program at TRU has paid off. Now, with the necessary approvals in place, the first students are expected this August.

New opportunity for local high school students to sample university in 2014

School District 73 and TRU are collaborating to deliver a unique education opportunity for students in the region to sample university while they are still attending high school. The two institutions will offer dual credits in new construction and mechanical trades sampler courses, administered and taught through TRU faculty to eligible students in Grades 10 through 12, at the new NorKam Trades and Technology School.
