Dr. Carol Rees, Associate Professor in the School of Education (Faculty of Education and Social Work), shared her work at the Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE) Conference at Ryerson University, Toronto, from May 27-31, 2017. Rees presented her paper, “Association of dialogue forms and particular situations in a seventh/eighth grade classroom in the Steps to Inquiry project,” which suggests that, to make classrooms more equitable places, focus needs to be placed on in-class supports to create situations from which more equitable dialogue forms emerge.
