KinderMorgan visits TRU Trades

This is screen grab of the video KinderMorgan created during its recent stop at TRU Trades & Technology. The stop was part of a roadshow the company was on to talk about the job possibilities related to the company’s proposed twinning of its pipeline.

TRU’s School of Trades and Technology regularly invites employers to campus to connect one-on-one with students through training and information sessions, job fairs, and lunch and learns.

An example was KinderMorgan’s recent campus stop where students learned first-hand of the possible employment opportunities should the company receive approval to expand its existing Trans Mountain pipeline from Edmonton through to British Columbia’s Lower Mainland.

KinderMorgan anticipates needing hundreds of people the likes of electricians, carpenters, welders, pipe fitters, transport mechanics, and more.
