Summertime may be when a few things take a bit of a break, but not the Classic Film Night.
It’s continuing through the summer, with screenings scheduled for July 23, Aug. 6, Aug. 20.
“Our classic film night grew out of a class I taught on Literature and Film last winter,” says Mervyn Nicholson. The students wanted to explore more great movies and have a good time doing it. And I thought, now that is a great idea.”
Screenings are at 6:30pm, in room 1015 of the International Building, are free, and everyone is welcome.
“These classic comedies are guaranteed to make you laugh out loud,” say Nicholson.
After the film, there is time for discussion and, “it’s interesting to hear what others think and what they see,” says Nicholson.
