Hi everyone,

The TRU Library is in the process of implementing a liaison program to forge better communication between the library and the various academic departments at TRU and to help us meet the teaching, learning, and research needs of the TRU community. Each academic department will have a designated librarian who will be your primary contact person for any questions re: the library’s resources and services. Elizabeth Rennie (erennie@tru.ca) will continue to be the primary contact for all library instruction requests.

To begin the program, the Library’s new University Librarian, Brenda Mathenia, and your designated liaison librarian would like to attend a Faculty Council meeting to introduce the program and then to come to one of your departmental meetings to introduce ourselves, to explain more about what’s going on in the library, and to hear what you need from us. Your liaison librarian will be contacting you soon to begin this conversation.
