Mussels, Bluebirds and Tour Guides – Q & A’s with Undergrad Researchers

Undergraduate students at TRU research a fascinating variety of subjects representing many different departments across campus. The Newsroom caught up with several undergrads this summer who have received funding for their projects through the Undergraduate Research Experience Award Program (UREAP).

These students have investigated such diverse topics as mollusk colouration, bluebird parenting, tour operators, and climate change, but share a passion for research and the drive to ask, why. Check out the Q & A’s below.
